In addition to my passion for music technology, I am an accomplished performer. My main instrument is the cello. I have achieved my ABRSM grade 8, am fluent in reading sheet music, and in 2024 I successfully auditioned for a place in The University of York Symphony Orchestra.

I have played in a multitude of ensembles over the years. This includes orchestras, string quartets, concert bands, pit bands for productions with challenging repertoire such as Les Miserables and West Side Story, weddings, lounge music for formal events and more. Towards the end of my time at college I helped teach young children ages 7-11 cello in string quartets, which I found incredibly rewarding.

Additionally, I am a capable pianist. I perform a wide variety of music, including classical, pop and indie. I recently spent 3 months working on a children's summer camp in the USA, so found myself playing lots of Disney songs for the kids! While able to read sheet music for piano, I am much more fluent in reading lead sheets.

One of my greates attributes as an instrumentalist is my ability to improvise. I have great knowledge of music theory, and am able to take requests from an audience.

Below are some of my personal favourite solo recordings of mine, produced entirely by myself.
